The School works with at-risk first- and second-grade students, providing educational support, books, and daily meals during the most critical early years of learning.
Through tutoring, literacy programs, and nutritional support, the school helps children build stronger educational foundations and remain engaged in school over the long term.

founder and school director, deacon Phyllis has been involved in outreach and mission work in Guatemala for many years, developing deep relationships with the students, families, and educators of San Andrés Itzapa. Through her leadership and dedication, Children Create History School was established to support at-risk first- and second-grade students during the most critical years of early education.
Working closely with local teachers and community members, Phyllis has helped coordinate educational support, literacy programs, school supplies, volunteer outreach, and daily nutritional assistance for children who might otherwise struggle to remain in school.

Children Create History School is supported by a small but deeply committed team of educators, volunteers, and community partners working together to support students and families in San Andrés.
